Mac Mavericks How-to Mount Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 Partitions

How-to Mount Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 on Mac Mavericks

The Tip Show Exactly How-to Mount Any Ext2/Ext3/Ext4 Partitions on Mac Mavericks OS X.

I wrote this because I saw several Guides on the Net but just couldn't Find out One that Show Clearly & Simply How-to Mount a Linux Partition on Mac 10.8+.

  1. Download Fuse-Ext2 for Mac:

    Get FUSE-Ext2 dmg
  2. Double-Click on Package and Install It

  3. Download Mac OsxFuse Utility:

    Get OsxFuse dmg
  4. Double-Click on Package and Install It

    Make sure “MacFUSE Compatibility Layer" is Selected!
  5. Mounting Ext Partitions Command

    fuse-ext2 --help
    Example:
    fuse-ext2 /dev/<diskXsY> <mountpoint>
